1. Choose Your Gemstone
What should your memorial stone look like? Think about which color, shape, and size touches you the most.

The Color: Would you like your ruby to shine in a warm red – like your father's heart?
Or your sapphire to gleam in the blue of their eyes? Choose from red, blue, or natural. Each color develops
individually – just like your loved one or beloved pet.

The Size: As small as delicate stardust. Or large enough to sparkle like a comet.
You know what your heart needs. From 0.5 to 12 carats (1 carat equals 0.2 g). We're happy to cut your gemstone to custom size as well – from 2.5 mm, we can fulfill nearly any request.
- The Cut: Round like the circle of life, heart-shaped for eternal love, or angular for unique memories. We offer you 10 cut styles – and special shapes upon request.
2. Choose a Piece of Jewelry
Would you like to wear your memorial stone as a piece of jewelry? Then choose from the following:

Pendants: Elegantly set in red, white, or yellow gold, 18 karat.

Necklaces: In red, white, or yellow gold, 18 karat (that’s 750 parts gold out of 1,000 and the highest purity for fine jewelry).

Collier (307 or 308): The pendants are directly attached to the chain.

Rings: Close to your hand every day – perfect as an engagement or wedding ring (please let us know your ring size).

Engravings: A personal message for your gemstone or jewelry piece. Just contact us.

Custom Jewelry: We’re happy to turn your loved one into a custom jewelry piece – entirely according to your wishes.
You can order your gemstone or jewelry piece directly from our shop if you already have the hair or ashes. Otherwise, please contact your funeral director for the next steps. And within 24 business hours of your order, Simona will reach out to you. So you can be sure to receive the memorial stone or jewelry piece that touches your heart.
3. Send Ashes or Hair
For your gemstone, we need 50 grams of ashes or 10 grams of hair.
We can also process a mixture of hair and ashes, or they may come from multiple individuals
(this is ideal for an engagement ring). Please send the biological material to the following address:

Pack the ashes or hair with respect and care in a secure, tightly sealed container – as befits your loved one or beloved pet. If you'd like, we can send you our shipping container in advance to protect this precious content.
Label the container or shipping box so we know who it contains – ideally with the name, date of birth, date of death, and order number. Then send it as an insured package with tracking via the postal service of your choice. Alternatively, you can drop off the ashes or hair directly at Mevisto.
After 30 business days (approx. 50 business days for jewelry pieces), you will receive your memorial stone.
4. Receive Your Keepsake
We want to ensure that your memorial stone reaches you safely. And we guarantee that you will receive it personally (shipping cost €90.00), or you can pick up your sapphire or ruby directly from us.
We’ll contact you in advance – so you’ll be home. And you can welcome the memory of Mom, Klaus, or kitty Karlchen directly into your life.
